The proposed bill seeks to modify Human Care Agreement No. CW94269 with Frontline Community Services, Inc. by exercising option year three, which will extend the contract from April 1, 2025, through March 31, 2026, with a not-to-exceed amount of $1,776,360.76. This modification allows Frontline Community Services to continue providing essential residential services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities that are not covered by Medicaid. The funding for this agreement has been certified as available in the District's Local Budget and Financial Plan for Fiscal Year 2025.

Additionally, the bill includes an increase in the living wage rate, which will rise to $17.50 effective January 1, 2025, and further increase to $18.00 per hour starting July 1, 2025.
