The resolution, titled the District of Columbia Retirement Board Lyle M. Blanchard Reappointment Resolution of 2025, is a formal action by the Council of the District of Columbia to reappoint Lyle M. Blanchard as a member of the District of Columbia Retirement Board. This reappointment is for a four-year term, which will conclude on January 27, 2029. The District of Columbia Retirement Board was established under the District of Columbia Retirement Reform Act of 1979.

Upon adoption of the resolution, a copy will be sent to Lyle M. Blanchard, the chairperson of the District of Columbia Retirement Board, and the Mayor. The resolution is effective immediately following its adoption.
