Pursuant to section 451 of the District of Columbia Home Rule Act (D.C. Official Code § 1-
204.51) and section 202 of the Procurement Practices Reform Act of 2010 (D.C. Official Code §
2-352.02), enclosed for consideration and approval by the Council of the District of Columbia is
proposed Modification No. M001 to Contract No. DCKA-2024-C-0025 with Tree Services, Inc.
T/A Adirondack Tree Experts (Tree Services), to exercise option year one in the not-to-exceed
amount of $3,086,000. The period of performance is from January 23, 2025, through January 22,
2026.
Under the proposed modification, Tree Services shall continue to provide tree removal services in
the District of Columbia.

In accordance with Contract No. DCKA-2024-C-0025 § F.2 – Option to Extend the Term of the Contract, the District
hereby exercises Option Year 1 as follows:
1. The period of performance of the contract is extended from January 23, 2025 through January 22, 2026.
2. The Option Year 1 Not-to-Exceed ceiling remains $3,086,000.00 as specified in Section B.3.2 of the
Contract. The District will order a minimum amount of $93,275.00 in Option Year 1.
