19 resolution may be cited as the "Board of Architecture, Interior Design, and Landscape

The client used their physical relocation as an opportunity to upgrade their interior office space
and furniture. LUHF provided furniture selection and specifications, including workstations,
conference rooms, support spaces, and designated teaming areas. The selection of furniture and
palettes was chosen to bring the organization's forward-thinking vision to life. To pay homage to
their past, archival photos were enlarged and prominently displayed.
Department of Motor Vehicles (12,680 SF)
The DMV, as part of the office relocation, wished to upgrade their interior space and furniture.
The project included furniture selection and specifications for the public payment center and the
private hearing rooms. The public payment center features a bright laminate finish selection and
bold graphics, as well as upgrades to a large waiting room, 12 teller stations, offices,
workstations, and large conference rooms. The private hearing rooms feature dark wood finish
selections with enhanced technology and security and included upgrades to 22 hearing rooms,
the director and executive offices, and conference areas.
ZetaPhiBeta
Sorority, Inc. (11,000 SF; Architect: Michael Marshall Design)
Zeta, an international sorority, desired to renovate their HQ office space located in a historic
mansion. LUHF provided contemporary furniture for their new offices, staff workstations,
lecture hall, conference area, and support spaces.
Court Services and Offender Supervisions Agency (9,800 SF)
CSOSA, a city government social agency, desired to refresh their office space to encourage Staff
collaboration and engagement. LUHF provided interior furniture selections and specifications for
multiple lobbies, offices, workstations, conference rooms, training rooms, the employee lounge,
and the pantry. Multiple color schemes were utilized on each floor to distinguish the floor’s
designated agency. The workstations were resized to accommodate in-house hoteling teams.
UnitedStatesSentencingCommission (5,780 SF)
The United States Sentencing Commission, a federal government agency, requested various
interior furniture upgrades for their office space. This 4-year IDIQ included furniture selections
and specifications for the reception area, executive commissioner offices, library with benching
workstations, offices, conference rooms, employee lounge, and support areas.
EmergingCapitalPartners (2,375 SF)
Emerging Capital Partners, a private equity firm, used their relocation as an opportunity to
assess their current furniture and refresh their space by adding in new furniture and products.
LUHF took full furniture inventory and provided them with new furniture for the senior teams,
staff offices, executive conference room, reception area, and guest lobby.

The National Institute on Aging, a department of the National Institutes of Health, wanted to
create an educational experience for staff and visitors by incorporating an informational graphic
wall in the space. LUHF provided specifications and installation for the new furniture for the
literature and awards display and hidden storage for excess documents not displayed.
Howard University (110,000 SF)
The University desired a refresh of their existing east and west residential towers for
upperclassmen. The new interior design concept was to mirror the adjacent upscale apartments,
which included lobbies, study rooms, lounge areas, café dining, exercise facilities, conference
facilities, an onsite management office and apartments for visiting professors.

Shauna Stallworth
Ms. Shauna Stallworth is a licensed interior designer with over 35 years
of experience in interior design. Her roles have ranged from designer to
project manager to senior vice president of corporate real estate.
Ms. Stallworth brings extensive experience in the complete project life
cycle to each of her projects, from the conceptual design stage to
installation and support. Her work includes but isn't limited to furniture,
finishes, color, lighting, flooring (FFE), and required equipment. During
each of her projects, Ms. Stallworth provides design direction,
supervision, and administrative operations procedures to ensure timely
projects within established budgets.
A Ward 6 resident, Ms. Stallworth earned her Bachelor of Architecture from Howard University.
