Pursuant to section 451 of the District of Columbia Home Rule Act (D.C. Official Code § 1-
204.51) and section 202 of the Procurement Practices Reform Act of 2010 (D.C. Official Code §
2-352.02), enclosed for consideration and approval by the Council of the District of Columbia is
proposed Modification No. M0015 to Contract No. CW92057 with American Medical Response
Mid-Atlantic, Inc., in the not-to-exceed amount of $15,299,212.85. The contract modification’s
period of performance is October 11, 2024, through October 10, 2025.
Under the proposed modification, American Medical Response Mid-Atlantic, Inc., shall continue
providing non-emergency ambulance and triage services to Fire and Emergency Medical Services
Department’s Emergency Medical Services division.

The Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) certifies available funding in the Fire and
Emergency Medical Services Department’s proposed Fiscal Year 2025 operating budget in the
amount of $15,299,212.85 for third party ambulance and nurse triage line services. The FY 2026
portion, which runs through October 10th, 2025, is contingent on an approved budget.
Future orders above the funds available are contingent upon the identification of additional
funding.
