17 RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, that this
18 resolution may be cited as the "Real Estate Commission Monique Owens Confirmation
19 Resolution of 2024".
20 Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the reappointment of:

30 Sec. 3. The Council of the District of Columbia shall transmit a copy of this resolution,
31 upon its adoption, to the nominee and to the Office of the Mayor.
32 Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.

Monique Owens
Ms. Monique Owens is a Long and Foster Real Estate Consultant and
Real Estate Frenzy, LLC Chief Housing Officer.
Ms. Owens has more than 17 years of experience in residential and
commercial real estate and property management in the Washington,
D.C. metropolitan area. In her current roles, Ms. Owens has developed
targeted marketing campaigns to increase market penetration and
awareness for first time homebuyers and has built relationships with key
stakeholders to help house the most vulnerable populations in D.C.
Ms. Owens serves as a member to the Landlord Advisory Group,
Association of Real Estate License Law Officials, and the Greater Capital Area Association of
Realtors.
A Ward 5 resident, Ms. Owens earned her Bachelor of Arts in marketing and psychology from
Marymount University.
