19 RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, that this
20 resolution may be cited as the "Commission on Re-Entry and Returning Citizen Affairs Larry
21 Moon Confirmation Resolution of 2024".
22 Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the reappointment of:

33 Sec. 3. The Council of the District of Columbia shall transmit a copy of this resolution,

Larry Moon, Jr.
Mr. Larry Moon is the Outreach Coordinator with the Hope Foundation
Reentry Network.
Mr. Moon is a returning citizen who assists others with reintegrating
back into society. He currently provides mentoring and support for
returning citizens. Mr. Moon also co-facilitates aftercare meetings with
the Reentry and Sanctions Center. Each year, Mr. Moon hosts a seminar,
“From the Client’s Perspective” tailored specifically to incoming law
clerks that represent clients at parole revocation hearings.
In addition to Mr. Moon’s local work, he has written three novels and is
currently working on his fourth book. He is also the owner of
Moonlighting Publications where he assists other authors in the book publishing process.
A Ward 7 resident, Mr. Moon is a current member of the Commission on Re-Entry and Returning
Citizen Affairs.
