17 RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, that this
18 resolution may be cited as the "Board of Pharmacy Benjamin Miles Confirmation Resolution of
19 2024".
20 Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the reappointment of:

Benjamin E. Miles
Benjamin Miles, an Atlanta native, joined Sibley Memorial Hospital's
clinical pharmacystaff after he relocated to Washington, D.C., in 2009. He
completed a PGY-I residency at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor,
Maine, in 2008 where he also worked as a decentralized staff pharmacist,
for the year following his residency.
Mr. Miles has served as a resident advisor and residency research advisor
for Sibley’s pharmacy residency. He is a preceptor for Virginia
Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy and Howard University
College of Pharmacy, precepting Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience
hospital rotations for both schools.
Mr. Miles is board-certified in pharmacotherapy and emergency medicine and currently works as
the Clinical Staff Pharmacist Specialist at Sibley Memorial Hospital. Outside of the hospital, Dr.
Miles is an avid runner, having completed many full- and half-marathons.
A Ward 5 resident, Mr. Miles eared his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Biology and
his Doctor
ofPharmacy from the University of Georgia.
