16 resolution may be cited as the "Violence Fatality Review Committee Juanita Price Confirmation

Community Services Agency
Deputy Director level position responsible to manage the day-to-day
operations of one of the largest community mental health agencies in the
Nation with a budget of 36 million dollars, 6000 clients and 300 staff. The
Community Services Agency provides comprehensive services to children,
adolescents, families and elders. Current and former oversight includes
two therapeutic nurseries, three psycho-educational programs, three
pharmacies, four medical clinics, supportive employment comprehensive
adult, children and family mental health programs.

The Connecting Point is the largest child and family service agency in Northwest
Ohio. Services include mental health and substance treatment, advocacy, school-
based services, violence intervention services, pregnancy prevention for pregnant
and parenting teens, employee assistance programs for TANF families transitioning
from public assistance, residential and runaway services. Conducted one million-
dollar capital construction campaign and constructed state of the art facility.

Managed day-to-day operations of a state psychiatric hospital. TMHC, now
called North Coast Behavioral Health Center, was a 460 bed adult urban
facility with approximately 500 employees. The hospital served 21 Counties

Juanita Price
Juanita Price is the Chief Executive Officer of the Hillcrest Children
and Family Center located in Washington, D.C. The Hillcrest Children
and Family Center recently celebrated its 200th Anniversary of serving
communities in the District of Columbia.
Prior to her current role at the Hillcrest Children and Family Center,
she was appointed to lead the Toledo Mental Health Center, one of the
nation’s largest urban mental health centers. Beyond treatment of
psychiatric patients, the Center sought to establish policy to address
patient consent to treatment.
Juanita Price was also appointed to lead the District of Columbia
Community Services Agency which provided outpatient behavioral health services to residents.
A Ward 5 resident, Mrs. Price has achieved a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the
University of Pittsburgh, as well as a Master of Education degree with a concentration in
Administration and Supervision from the University of Toledo.
