Pursuant to section 451 of the District of Columbia Home Rule Act (D.C. Official Code § 1-
204.51) and the Procurement Practices Reform Act of 2010 (D.C. Official Code § 2-351.02),
enclosed for consideration and approval by the Council of the District of Columbia is proposed
Modification No. 4 to Contract No. GAGA-2021-C-0074 with Curriculum Associates, LLC to
exercise option year two in the amount of $1,728,789.50. The period of performance is from
September 1, 2023, to August 31, 2024.
Under the proposed modification, Curriculum Associates LLC shall continue to provide access to
i-Ready® Online, English Language Arts (ELA) and Math Diagnostic Assessment Platform for
all K-8th grades District of Columbia Public Schools students, school personnel, and designated
Central Services personnel.

ACTION: Change Exercise of Option Economic Price Adjustment Other
Pursuant to Section 15 of the Government of the District of Columbia Standard Contract Provisions for use
with the District of Columbia Supply and Services Contract dated July 2010, and 27 DCMR Section 3600, the
subject contract is hereby modified as follows:
1. In accordance with the provisions of the contract in Section F.2, entitled “Option to Extend the Term of
the Contract”, the District hereby exercises option year two pursuant to the Statement of Appropriated
Authority approved by the Chief Financial Officer on May 4, 2023 and City Council approval.
2. The option year two amount is one million seven hundred twenty-eight thousand seven hundred
eighty-nine dollars and fifty cents ($1,728,789.50).

8. In accordance with section 38(d) of the Standard Contract Provisions (Way to Work Amendment Act of
2006), the living wage rate is hereby adjusted to $16.50 per hour, effective from January 1, 2023, through
June 30, 2023, effective on July 1, 2023, the District’s Minimum Wage and Living Wage will increase to
$17.00 per hour.
