To declare the existence of an emergency with respect to the need to approve multiyear
Contract No. CW103202 with FWD Seagrave Holdings, LP to provide tractor-
drawn ladder trucks to the Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department.
RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That
this resolution may be cited as the “Contract No. CW103202 with FWD Seagrave
Holdings, LP Emergency Declaration Resolution of 2023”.
Sec. 2. (a) The Office of Contracting and Procurement, on behalf of the Fire and
Emergency Medical Services Department, proposes to enter into a multiyear contract
with FWD Seagrave Holdings, LP to provide tractor-drawn ladder trucks.
(b) The not-to-exceed price for the term of this multiyear contract with FWD
Seagrave Holdings, LP is $12,382,395 for the 3-year period of performance.
(c) Approval is necessary to allow the District to receive the benefit of these vital
goods in a timely manner from FWD Seagrave Holdings, LP.
(d) These critical services can only be obtained through an award of the
multiyear contract with FWD Seagrave Holdings, LP.
Sec 3. The Council determines that the circumstances enumerated in section 2
constitute emergency circumstances making it necessary that the Contract No.
CW103202 with FWD Seagrave Holdings, LP Emergency Approval Resolution of 2023
be adopted on an emergency basis.
Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
