Serving as chief pediatric physician expert in the Center for Devices and Radiological Health. Represents the
Center on pediatri<:: medical device related issues. Drafting guidance documents related to Pediatric Medical
Device Tracking, Custom Devices, HDE legislation and Extrapolation of adult data for pediatric device
indications. Coordinates initiatives and oversees execution ofactivities related to pediatric device issues.
Planned and exe<::uted the Rare Diseases Workshop to address pediatric issues related to the development of
medical devices used for rare diseases Qanuary 8, 2014). Works with the Pediatric Device Consortium (FDA)
to conduct workshops for grant recipients, collaborated on the drafting of the grant application/FR notice
and will oversee selection of grant recipients. Represents FD.A and expert on pediatric device development
and regulation.

Center for Devices and Radiological Health at the Food and Drug ..Administration. This division evaluates
and dears plastic surgery diagnostic and therapeutic devices. Served as clinical consultant to other branches
for a variety of devices including neurological, orthopedic, and general surgery devices with pediatric
indications.

Served as a collaborative reviewer \,Vith the Office of Patient Safety with the Medsun pilot project and
working to launch KIDNET (adverse event reporting system for pediatric devices). Represented FDA,
Presented abstract poster on the K.IDNET program at the American Academy of Pediatrics Annual meeting
October 2008. to educate pediatricians about the KIDNET program.

effectiveness of the country's measles infectiort surveillance system. Prov"ided recomtnendations to the
Cameroonian Ministry of Public Health and provided data to JHU to help determine the accuracy of data
generated by PEV/\XIHO. Traveled extensively through Cameroon.
