To confirm the reappointment of Ms. Carolyn A. Williams to the Board of Respiratory Care.
RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
resolution may be cited as the Board of Respiratory Care Carolyn A. Williams Confirmation
Resolution of 2022.
Sec. 2. The Councilofthe District of Columbia confirms the reappointment of:

Carolyn A. Williams
Carolyn A. Williams, RRT, FAARC is a Respiratory Care
Practitioner at Children's National Medical Center and current
Chairperson ofthe Board ofRespiratory Care.
Ms, Williams has worked as a Respiratory Therapist for over 30
years. In her current role as an Advanced Practitioner in the
emergency room, she administers an array of gas exchange
therapies to treat her patients. Ms. Williams received the Fellow
of the American Association for Respiratory Care (FAARC) in
2017 and was recognized for her Outstanding Service and
Achievement to the Profession from the American Association for
Respiratory Care where she also serves as member. Ms. Williams is also a member of the
American Association for Respiratory Care and the MD/DC Society for Respiratory Care.
A Ward 5 resident, Ms. Carolyn A. Williams received an Associate of Applied Science in
Respiratory Therapy from the University of the District of Columbia and a Bachelor of Science
in Health Education from the University of the District of Columbia.
