To confirm the reappointment of Dr. Monique Powell-Davis to the Maternal Mortality Review
Committee.
RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
resolution may be cited as the Maternal Mortality Review Committee Dr. Monique Powell-
Davis Confirmation Resolution of 2022.
Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the reappointment of:

Dr. Monique Powell-Davis is currently an obstetric care
provider at the Marys Center for Matemal and Child
Care. At this federally qualified health center, she
provides full-scope out-[patient care, general gemology
care, as well as other womens health services. She
previously served in OB/GYN roles at Providence
Hospital and Prince Georges Hospital Center.
Dr. Powell-Davis is an active member of the American
Medical Association and possesses certification and
licensure in the District of Columbia, She has been cited
in medical publications such as Avoiding Common
Obstetrics and Gynecology Errors in 2011.
A Ward 4 resident, Dr. Powell-Davis received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the
University of the Virgin Islands as well as a Doctor of Medicine and Postgraduate physician
training from Howard University.
