AN ACT ALLOWING MEAD TO BE SOLD BY THE HOLDER OF A GIFT
BASKET RETAILER PERMIT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
1 That section 30-37p of the general statutes be amended to allow a
2 maximum of four bottles of mead to be sold per transaction under a gift
3 basket retailer permit.
Statement of Purpose:
To add mead to the list of permissible alcoholic beverages sold under
the gift basket retailer permit.
