Joint Budget Committee. In 2022, the general assembly created the Colorado household financial recovery pilot program to facilitate lending to individuals and households impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic who face financial insecurity and who have difficulty accessing affordable loans to address the financial insecurity.
The bill repeals the "Colorado Household Financial Recovery Pilot Program Act". On June 30, 2025, the state treasurer is required to transfer the balance of the Colorado household financial recovery pilot program fund to the general fund.(Note: This summary applies to the reengrossed version of this bill as introduced in the second house.)
