The act repeals the recovery-friendly workplace program in the center for health, work, and environment at the Colorado school of public health. The program recognized and assisted employers that implemented recovery-friendly policies to help employees in recovery from substance use disorders.
Appropriations made to the department of higher education in the annual general appropriation act for the 2025-26 state fiscal year are adjusted as follows:
The general fund appropriation for the college opportunity fund program to be used for limited purpose fee-for-service contracts with state institutions is decreased by $412,577; and
The reappropriated funds received from the limited purpose fee-for-service contracts with state institutions for the regents of the university of Colorado are decreased by the same amount.(Note: This summary applies to this bill as enacted.)
