ACA 21, Rivas. Withdrawal of Assembly Constitutional Amendment No. 13 of the 2023–24 Regular Session.
The Legislature adopted Assembly Constitutional Amendment No. 13 of the 2023–24 Regular Session, relating to voting. Existing law requires the Secretary of State to submit ACA 13 to the voters at the November 3, 2026, statewide general election.
This measure instead would direct the Secretary of State to withdraw ACA 13 from consideration by the voters.

WHEREAS, The Legislature may withdraw an amendment or revision of the Constitution in the same manner as it may propose such a measure pursuant to Section 1 of Article XVIII of the California Constitution; now therefore, be it
Resolved by the Assembly, the Senate concurring, That the Legislature of the State of California at its 2025–26 Regular Session, commencing on the second day of December 2024, two-thirds of the membership of each house concurring, hereby directs the Secretary of State to withdraw from the consideration of the people of the State of California Assembly Constitutional Amendment No. 13 of the 2023–24 Regular Session (Resolution Chapter 176 of the Statutes of 2023).
