Existing law, the Private Investigator Act, provides for the license and regulation of private investigators, as provided. Existing law prohibits an unlicensed person from engaging in the business regulated by the act or falsely representing that he or she is employed by a licensee.
This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to these provisions.
