The people of the State of California do enact as follows:
SECTION 1.
Section 16 of the Penal Code is amended to read:

Crimes and public offenses
include:
include all of the following:
1.
Felonies;
2.
Misdemeanors; and
3.
Infractions.
(a) Felonies.
(b) Misdemeanors.
(c) Infractions.
