Existing law generally regulates classes of insurance, including fire insurance. Existing law authorizes an insurer to rescind a fire insurance policy if an alteration in the use or condition of the insured property that is within the control of the insured and is made without the insurer's consent increases the risk of loss.
This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to that provision.
