The resolution proposes an amendment to Article VII, Section 11 of the Arizona Constitution, which pertains to the scheduling of general elections. The amendment aims to clarify that general elections for representatives in Congress, as well as state, county, city, town, school district, and precinct officers, will occur on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November of the first even-numbered year following Arizona's admission to statehood, and biennially thereafter.

If approved by voters, the amendment will be enacted upon the proclamation of the Governor. Additionally, the Secretary of State is tasked with submitting this proposition to the voters during the next general election, in accordance with Article XXI of the Arizona Constitution.
