This bill proposes to repeal section 41-3026.03 of the Arizona Revised Statutes, which currently governs the Arizona beef council. In its place, the bill introduces a new section, 41-3034.03, which establishes that the Arizona beef council will terminate on July 1, 2034, and that related provisions in Title 3, chapter 11, article 2 will be repealed on January 1, 2035.

Additionally, the bill stipulates that the Arizona beef council will continue as a self-financed program aimed at marketing and expanding the markets for beef and beef products produced in Arizona, as outlined in section 41–2955, subsection B. The changes proposed in this bill would take effect retroactively from July 1, 2026.
