This bill proposes to amend current statutes regarding the appropriation of funds for the reconstruction of McKeown Avenue in the Town of Patagonia. Under Laws 2023, chapter 135, section 10, subsection A, paragraph 10, the Town of Patagonia is authorized to use a $1,500,000 appropriation from the state General Fund for the reconstruction of McKeown Avenue between Fourth Avenue West and State Route 82. The bill will allow the Town of Patagonia to also use these funds for reconstruction between Third Avenue West and State Route 82.
