If enacted, this bill would amend current statutes regarding the distribution of funds from the State Lottery Fund. Specifically, it would insert a provision that mandates the deposit of $50,000,000 into the On-Farm Irrigation Efficiency Fund for fiscal years 2026 and 2027, as indicated by the new language g. Of the monies remaining in the state lottery fund in fiscal years 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 after appropriations and deposits authorized in subsections a through f of this section, $50,000,000 shall be deposited in the on-farm irrigation efficiency fund established by laws 2022, chapter 332.. Additionally, the bill would make several conforming changes to the existing statute.
