The proposed bill would amend current statutes by adding a new section, 15-120.05, to Title 15 of the Arizona Revised Statutes. This new section mandates the Arizona Department of Education (ADE) to create and maintain a webpage dedicated to parent training programs and resources focused on child sex trafficking and internet crimes against children. The webpage must include at least one free training program, educational materials, and printable information for parents and guardians without internet access. Additionally, the bill allows ADE to utilize free training programs provided by the Arizona Department of Homeland Security if available.

Furthermore, the bill requires each school to provide hard copy information about the training program and resources to parents or guardians at the start of each school year or when a student transfers. This information must include a statement encouraging annual completion of the training, a description of the training program, and details about alternative formats for those lacking internet access. The definition of "school" is also clarified to include both school districts and charter schools serving kindergarten through eighth grade. The bill deletes the previous requirement for the ADE webpage to include printable information and allows schools to provide information upon request rather than mandating hard copies.
