This bill proposes updates to current statutes regarding instructional time models (ITMs) for school districts and charter schools. Under the current law, schools are allowed to provide up to forty percent of their total instructional time in a remote setting without affecting their funding. The bill maintains this provision but adds a requirement for each school district and charter school that adopts an ITM to submit it to the Arizona Department of Education (ADE).

Additionally, the ADE will be mandated to post all received ITMs on its website, along with information regarding each model's impact on the school's funding. This new requirement aims to enhance transparency and accessibility of instructional time models for stakeholders. The bill also includes technical and conforming changes to ensure consistency within the statutes.
