SB1008 introduces new requirements for the Secretary of State (SOS) and each county recorder in Arizona. It mandates that they post a list on their respective public websites detailing each event they attend where voter registration services are provided. This list must include the location, title of the event, and all organizations affiliated with the event. Furthermore, the information must be updated on the website within 24 hours after attendance by the SOS, county recorder, or their staff.

The bill also repeals the existing Section 16-133 of the Arizona Revised Statutes and adds a new Section 16-133 with the aforementioned requirements. The changes are intended to increase transparency regarding voter registration activities conducted by the SOS and county recorders. The bill is set to become effective on the general effective date.
