Senator Stubblefield was elected to the Arkansas House of Representatives in 2011 and then to the Senate in 2013, where he served until his death. He held several leadership positions, including Chair of the City, County and Local Affairs Committee and the Senate Committee on Judiciary. Known for his strong faith and community involvement, he was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church in Branch. The resolution expresses gratitude for his significant contributions to Arkansas and his local community, and it extends condolences to his family, including his wife Kathi, their children, and grandchildren.
