This resolution recognizes the Division of Arkansas State Police's Interstate Criminal Patrol (ICP) for their outstanding achievements at the Gulf Coast High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Awards held on April 1, 2025. The ICP team was honored as the 2024 Agency of the Year due to their significant accomplishments, including the seizure of illegal narcotics valued at over $32 million, the confiscation of 25 vehicles, and the recovery of $4.1 million in cash. Additionally, Trooper Ana Escamilla was named the 2024 Officer of the Year for her impressive record of drug and currency seizures, while Corporal Chris Short received recognition for the largest cash seizure during a single traffic stop.

The resolution highlights the ICP's commitment to combating drug trafficking and criminal activities on Arkansas's highways, as emphasized by Colonel Mike Hagar, the Director of the Division of Arkansas State Police.
