Additionally, the bill modifies the section regarding rim removal and commercial generator fees, clarifying that only one fee can be charged for the transaction related to the removal of a tire from a rim when a replacement tire is sold. The previous requirement that a retailer cannot charge an additional fee if a customer has already paid one of the established fees is also deleted. This change allows tire retailers more flexibility in their pricing structure for tire removal services.
