The resolution congratulates the students of Murfreesboro High School for their outstanding achievements in the Girl Power Goes State! competition, which focuses on encouraging female high school students in Arkansas to engage in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields through the design and creation of projects using Computerized Numeric Control (CNC) technology. The regional event, held on February 13, 2025, at National Park College Career Academy, showcased the students' skills in designing and building projects, which were evaluated based on design, creativity, technical skill, and presentation.

Murfreesboro High School students excelled in the competition, with all top five projects being submitted by their students, including first-place winner Chloe Beck, second-place winner Addison Cox, and third-place winners Lillie Mays, Adyson James, and Gracie Goodwin. The students were guided by educator Blake Simmons, and the school is committed to expanding its workshop capabilities to support future projects. The resolution highlights the importance of access to advanced technology and instruction for all students, which can lead to opportunities in high-demand professions in Southwest Arkansas.
