The resolution recognizes the North Little Rock High School Charging Wildcats Varsity Cheer Team for their outstanding achievement in winning the Class 6A all-girl state championship on December 20, 2024. The team, consisting of eleven members, demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication, having previously excelled in four competitions by securing first place in three and third place in one. Notably, team member Iyuana Jones received All-State Cheerleader honors, while both Iyuana Jones and Kylie Sartain earned All-Star honors.

In addition to their state championship victory, the Charging Wildcats showcased their talent at the National High School Cheerleading Championships in Orlando, Florida, where they placed eighth among forty-three competing teams. Coach Missy Sela praised the team's hard work and highlighted the significance of their win, as it marked the first time a team with such a small number of members triumphed in the 6A division. The resolution calls for a copy to be presented to Coach Sela, acknowledging the team's accomplishments and contributions to their school and community.
