The resolution recognizes the Catholic High School for Boys Rockets golf team for winning the Class 6A state championship, which took place on October 8-9, 2024, at the Springdale Country Club in Arkansas. This victory marks the team's second state championship in four years, as they also secured the Class 6A Central Conference tournament and won their last five tournaments of the season. The team, consisting of members Jack Denery, Reece Johnson, Jackson Wolfe, Adam Squires, Davis Crowe, and Kade Keith, achieved a two-day total score of 573, winning the championship by ten strokes. Senior Jackson Wolfe earned Individual State Medalist honors with a three-under total of 139, while Denery and Squires also performed commendably.

The resolution highlights the academic achievements of the team, which boasts a collective GPA of 3.718, and acknowledges the leadership of Coaches Steve Squires, Jeremy Wolfe, and John Sidery, along with Athletic Director Tim Ezzi, Head of School Steve Straessle, and Principal Matt Dempsey.
