This bill amends existing laws regarding the sale of raw milk and raw milk products in Arkansas. It allows for the sale of these products at locations other than the farm where they are produced, including farmer's markets, natural food stores, and through delivery. The bill redefines "raw milk" to include goat milk, sheep milk, and whole milk that has not been pasteurized, and introduces the term "raw milk product" to encompass various consumer products made from raw milk, such as butter and cheese.

Additionally, the bill establishes new labeling and signage requirements for sellers of raw milk and raw milk products. Sellers must post a warning sign at the point of sale and affix a label to the product, both indicating that the product has not been pasteurized and may contain harmful bacteria. Furthermore, it mandates that raw milk products sold outside the farm must be kept refrigerated and requires consumers to sign an acknowledgment of risk regarding the consumption of these products.
