He was recently named an honorary United States Secret Service agent by President Donald J. Trump, further highlighting his impact and the love he has garnered worldwide.

In recognition of his fight and dedication, the resolution supports naming D.J. Daniel an honorary State Capitol Police Officer and proclaims March 17, 2025, as D.J. Daniel Day in the State of Arkansas. The Senate expresses gratitude for D.J.'s commitment to public service and pledges to support him and his family as he continues his battle against cancer. A copy of the resolution will be provided to D.J.'s father, Theodius Daniel, by the Secretary of the Senate.
