This bill amends Arkansas Code Title 25, Chapter 1, Subchapter 2, by adding a new section, 25-1-207, which outlines the procedures for the submission of recurring reports to the General Assembly. A "recurring report" is defined as one that must be filed more than once, either as required by statute or requested by the General Assembly or its committees. State agencies are mandated to submit these reports three times, after which they will not be required to file additional reports unless specifically requested by the receiving entity. Furthermore, upon the third submission, agencies must inform the recipients that no further reports will be filed unless requested.

The bill also clarifies that the General Assembly retains the authority to direct state agencies to resume filing reports after they have ceased. The implementation of this act is prospective, meaning that it will apply to reports filed after the effective date of the act. However, if a state agency has already submitted a report more than three times prior to the act's effective date, the receiving entity may request that no further reports be filed unless specifically asked for.
