This bill amends Arkansas Code Title 25, Chapter 1, Subchapter 2, by adding a new section, 25-1-207, which outlines the requirements for state agencies regarding the submission of recurring reports to the General Assembly. A "recurring report" is defined as one that must be filed more than once, either as mandated by statute or requested by the General Assembly or its committees. Under the new provisions, state agencies are required to submit these reports three times in the specified manner. After the third submission, agencies will not file additional reports unless specifically requested by the receiving entity.

Additionally, the bill stipulates that upon the third submission, agencies must inform the receiving entity that no further reports will be filed unless requested. However, the General Assembly retains the authority to direct agencies to resume reporting if necessary. The implementation of this act is prospective, meaning that agencies will follow the new reporting requirements starting from the effective date of the act. If an agency has already submitted a report more than three times before this date, the receiving entity may request that no further reports be filed unless requested.
