This bill amends the licensing requirements for new all-terrain vehicle dealers and new low-speed vehicle dealers in Arkansas. It specifies that these dealers are not required to maintain a dedicated service and parts area within their business premises or to perform repair and warranty services on vehicles at their licensed location. Instead, they must provide service for the vehicles they sell or refer purchasers to a service provider within a 40-mile radius. Additionally, they are required to offer a warranty on the vehicles sold and coordinate with warranty service providers for servicing.

The bill also mandates that new all-terrain vehicle dealers and new low-speed vehicle dealers submit information about their service and warranty providers to the Arkansas Motor Vehicle Commission annually during license renewal. The Commission is tasked with creating rules to implement these changes. This act applies to all currently licensed dealers and those applying for a new license.
