This bill authorizes the creation and issuance of a special license plate to promote and support women veterans in Arkansas. It includes provisions for the design and issuance of the Women Veterans special license plate, which will be developed by the Department of Finance and Administration in consultation with the Department of Veterans Affairs Women Veterans Program. The bill stipulates that a fee of $15 will be charged for the design-use contribution, which will be allocated to cover the expenses of creating the license plate and to support educational programs for women veterans.

Additionally, the bill repeals the existing Pearl Harbor Survivor license plate, removing it from the list of special license plates available to veterans. The amendments to Arkansas Code include the deletion of references to the Pearl Harbor Survivor license plate in sections concerning special license plates and the issuance of additional copies. The act is set to take effect on October 1, 2025.
