18 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Parkview Patriots defeated the Shiloh
19 Christian Saints and claimed the Class 5A Football State Championship title
20 on December 2, 2023, at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock; and

22 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Parkview Patriots defeated the Shiloh
23 Christian Saints 55-12; and
24
25 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Parkview Patriots ranked No. 1 in their
26 division, completing a 14-0 undefeated season; and
27
28 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Parkview Patriots' quarterback Eric McGehee
29 amassed three hundred nineteen (319) total yards and threw four (4)
30 touchdowns and rushed for one (1) touchdown during the championship game,
31 earning Most Valuable Player two (2) years in a row; and

33 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Parkview Patriots were led by Head Coach Brad
34 Bolding; and

36 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Parkview Patriots' win marks the second

1 consecutive year that they have defeated the Shiloh Christian Saints in the
2 state title game,

4 NOW THEREFORE,
5 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL
6 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

8 THAT the House of Representatives recognize the Little Rock Parkview
9 Patriots as the 2023 Class 5A Football State Champions.

11 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon adoption, a copy shall of this resolution
12 shall be provided to Head Coach Brad Bolding by the Chief Clerk of the House
13 of Representatives.
