19          WHEREAS, the Little Rock Christian Academy Warriors took the title of
20   Class 4A Boys' Basketball State Champions on March 7, 2024, after defeating
21   the Farmington High School Cardinals 71-56 at Bank OZK Arena in Hot Springs;
22   and
23
24          WHEREAS, Landren Blocker led the Little Rock Christian Academy Warriors
25   with twenty-one (21) points and eleven (11) rebounds; and
26
27          WHEREAS, JaShawn "J.J." Andrews added nineteen (19) points to the game,
28   and made eight (8) rebounds and three (3) scoring assists; and
29
30          WHEREAS, Jameel Wesley finished the state championship game with
31   fourteen (14) points and seven (7) rebounds; and
32
33          WHEREAS, JaShawn "J.J." Andrews was named the state title game's Most
34   Valuable Player; and

36          WHEREAS, the Little Rock Christian Academy Warriors were led by Head

 3        WHEREAS, the Little Rock Christian Academy Warriors won back-to-back
 4   Class 4A state championships; and
 5
 6        WHEREAS, the Little Rock Christian Academy Warriors led the 4A-5
 7   conference with a 13-1 record,

 9   NOW THEREFORE,
10   BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL
11   ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

13        THAT the House of Representatives recognize the Little Rock Christian
14   Academy Warriors as the 2023-2024 Class 4A Boys' Basketball State Champions.

16   BE IF FURTHER RESOLVED THAT upon adoption, a copy of this resolution shall be
17   provided to Head Coach Kyle Pennington by the Chief Clerk of the House of
18   Representatives.
