8 TO RECOGNIZE THE HARDING ACADEMY FOOTBALL TEAM AS THE
9 CLASS 4A STATE CHAMPIONS.

13 TO RECOGNIZE THE HARDING ACADEMY FOOTBALL
14 TEAM AS THE CLASS 4A STATE CHAMPIONS.

16 WHEREAS, Harding Academy bested Rivercrest to take the Class 4A state
17 football title with a score of 43-35 at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock,
18 Arkansas, on Saturday, December 9, 2023; and
19
20 WHEREAS, the win earned Harding Academy the tenth state championship in
21 the team's history; and
22
23 WHEREAS, Owen Miller was named the 4A State Title Game Most Valuable
24 Player for his performance of three hundred sixty-four (364) yards of passing
25 and four (4) touchdowns; and
26
27 WHEREAS, Harding Academy finished the season with a perfect 15-0
28 record,

30 NOW THEREFORE,
31 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL
32 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

34 THAT the House of Representatives congratulate and recognize the
35 Harding Academy football team as the Class 4A state champions.
