The resolution recognizes the Mountain View High School Dance Team for their outstanding achievement as the 2023 Arkansas Activities 1A-4A Dance Champions. The team secured first place in both High Kick and Pom categories, second place in Jazz, and received the Best Costume Award. The members of the team include Mabry Deitrick, Josie Callahan, Michelle McDonald, Kashlee Morgan, Ella Fletcher, Raegan Turner, Emily Chitwood, Madyson Thomas, Bronwyn Clayborn, Kiley Deitrick, Jacie Gammill, and Ava Mitchell. Notably, Mabry Deitrick was named All State, and both she and Josie Callahan were selected for the state's All Star Dance Team.

The resolution also highlights the leadership of Coach Julie Turner, who has coached the varsity dance team for five years, leading them to three state championships and one state runner-up title. This victory marks the eighth state championship for Mountain View High School. The Senate of the Ninety-Fourth General Assembly of the State of Arkansas officially recognizes the team's accomplishments and directs that a copy of the resolution be provided to Coach Turner.
