The resolution recognizes the Gravette High School Lions boys' wrestling team for their outstanding achievement in winning the 2024 4A State Championship, held in Little Rock on February 23-24, 2024. The team set a tournament record by scoring 184 points and had all thirteen qualified members named to the All-State team, with notable performances including state champions Logan Miller and Porter Bird, as well as several runners-up and medalists. The team concluded the season with a commendable record of 17-6 overall and 13-1 in the 4A division, also securing second place at Dual State and first in the 4A North Regionals.

The resolution further acknowledges the support and guidance provided by the coaching staff, including AJ Herrlein, Chris Weller, Greg Miller, BJ Herrlein, and Bry Moltz, which contributed to the team's success. The team's motto, "GGG for Gravette Goes Gold," symbolizes their commitment and achievement. Upon adoption of the resolution, a copy will be presented to Coach AJ Herrlein by the Secretary of the Senate, formally honoring the team's accomplishments.
