24 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

26 SECTION 1. Arkansas Code § 8-6-607(b)(3), concerning the collection of
27 fees under the Solid Waste Management and Recycling Fund Act, is amended to
28 read as follows:
29 (3) Except for the disposal fees deposited into the Marketing
30 Recyclables Program Fund under subdivision (b)(2) of this section, before
31 disbursing moneys to the regional solid waste management boards, the division
32 shall deposit the following moneys into the following funds each fiscal year:
33 (A) One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) One
34 hundred ninety thousand dollars ($190,000) into the Crime Information System
35 Fund to be used exclusively for the scrap metal logbook program; and
36 (B) Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) into the

3 SECTION 2. Arkansas Code § 19-5-1011(c), concerning the Crime
4 Information System Fund, is amended to read as follows:
5 (c) Beginning July 1, 2013 2023, excluding the disposal fees that are
6 to be deposited into the Marketing Recyclables Program Fund under § 8-6-
7 607(b)(2), the first one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) one
8 hundred ninety thousand dollars ($190,000) of fees collected each fiscal year
9 under § 8-6-607 shall be deposited into the State Treasury and credited to
10 the Crime Information System Fund to be used exclusively for the scrap metal
11 logbook program.
