18 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

20 SECTION 1. Arkansas Code § 27-36-208, concerning special restrictions
21 on lamps, is amended to add additional subsections to read as follows:
22 (d) The prohibition on the use of flashing lights under subsection (c)
23 of this section does not prohibit the placement or the use of a high-mounted
24 stop lamp on a motor vehicle that is not listed in subdivision (c)(1)-(5) of
25 this section.
26 (e) As used in this section, "high-mounted stop lamp" means a stop lamp
27 with a light that pulses and varies in intensity up to four (4) times but
28 does not deactivate when the motor vehicle brakes for two (2) seconds or
29 less.
