8 TO COMMEND THE WARREN HIGH SCHOOL LADY LUMBERJACKS
9 INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD TEAM FOR WINNING THE 2023
10 CLASS 4A STATE INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIP.

17 INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIP.

19 WHEREAS, on February 18, 2023, the Warren High School Lady Lumberjacks
20 Indoor Track and Field Team won the 2023 Class 4A Girls State Indoor Track
21 and Field Championship held at the Randal Tyson Track Center at the
22 University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in Fayetteville, Arkansas; and
23
24 WHEREAS, the Warren High School Lady Lumberjacks Indoor Track and Field
25 Team won the championship with a score of seventy-six and five-tenths (76.5)
26 points; and
27
28 WHEREAS, the Warren High School Lady Lumberjacks Indoor Track and Field
29 Team won the 1,600-meter relay race with a time of 4:24:44 and was run by
30 Aria Hunt, Azul Garcia, Ember Johnson, and Aaliyah Walton; and
31
32 WHEREAS, this championship was a true team effort as the Warren High
33 School Lady Lumberjacks Indoor Track and Field Team also had athletes place
34 in the 60-meter dash, the 200-meter dash, the 400-meter race, the 800-meter
35 race, the 3,00-meter relay race, the long jump, and the shot put; and

1 WHEREAS, the Warren High School Lady Lumberjacks Indoor Track and Field
2 Team is coached by Head Coach Janice Reddick; and
3
4 WHEREAS, the Warren High School Lady Lumberjacks Indoor Track and Field
5 Team includes Aaliyah Walton, Taliyah Walton, Krystal Walton, Aria Hunt, Azul
6 Garcia, Mattie West, McKinleigh Meeks, Ember Johnson, Aniyah York, Zoey
7 Tullos, Delaney Herring, Avery Wharton, and Amari Russell; and
8
9 WHEREAS, the Warren High School Lady Lumberjacks Indoor Track and Field
10 Team Coach Reddick stated “These young ladies were excited about going to
11 Fayetteville and to participate in the Indoor State Track Meet. I enjoyed
12 coaching these young ladies as they are a group of ladies that are ambitious
13 and smart”,

15 NOW THEREFORE,
16 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE
17 STATE OF ARKANSAS:

19 THAT the Senate commend the Warren High School Lady Lumberjacks Indoor
20 Track and Field Team for winning the 2023 Class 4A Girls Indoor Track and
21 Field Championship.

23 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT upon adoption of this resolution, a copy shall be
24 transmitted to Head Coach Janice Reddick by the Secretary of the Senate.
