The resolution commends the Maumelle Charter High School Falcons Boys Golf Team for their outstanding achievement in winning the 2022 Class 3A Boys Golf State Championship, held on October 4, 2022, at Turkey Mountain Golf Course in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. The team secured victory by three strokes over Harding Academy, finishing with a total score of 247. Notably, golfer Luke Hanson excelled individually, shooting a score of 72 to win the Class 3A championship, marking his third individual state title, and earned a spot on the All-State Team. Additionally, Jase Holder also received All-State honors by finishing in the top ten.

The resolution highlights the dedication and teamwork of the Falcons, under the guidance of Head Coach James Mitchell, who praised the players for their hard work and competitive spirit throughout the season. The team’s success has garnered recognition, as they have been invited to participate in the 2023 National Invitational by the Board of Governors of the Professional Golf Association National High School Golf Association. The Senate of the Ninety-Fourth General Assembly of the State of Arkansas officially recognizes the team's accomplishments and plans to provide a copy of the resolution to Coach Mitchell.
