24 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

26 SECTION 1. Arkansas Code § 16-87-302(b)(1)(A), concerning the expenses
27 that counties within a judicial district are responsible for paying in
28 relation to public defenders, is amended to read as follows:
29 (1)(A) The cost of facilities, equipment, supplies, and other
30 office expenses necessary to the effective and efficient operation of the
31 public defender's office, including without limitation the annual attorney's
32 license fee for each full-time public defender.
