25 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

27 SECTION 1. DO NOT CODIFY. This act shall be known and may be cited as
28 "Lyna Gayle's Law".

30 SECTION 2. Arkansas Code ยง 16-31-103(d), concerning exemptions from
31 jury service, is amended to read as follows:
32 (d) A person who is eighty (80) seventy (70) years of age or older may
33 voluntarily exempt himself or herself from or decline to participate in jury
34 service at any time.
